2022 Mass History Conference

The Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street (MoMS) initiative reaches underserved rural communities through traveling exhibitions that explore common themes in American life. Join us for an introduction to the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street program, then hear from four of the six organizations that are going to be hosting the Crossroads exhibit this year in Athol, Turners Falls, Hull and Essex, Massachusetts. Presenters will also touch on the plans for the 2026 touring exhibit: Voices and Votes and explain what organizations should know to apply to host this future exhibit.
