
Julie A. Potter-Dunlop, PhD, is the Secretary of the Maine Ulster Scots Project (MUSP), as well as a member of the MUSP Editorial Board for the publication, 1718–2018: Reflections on 300 Years of Scots Irish in Maine. Julie is a direct descendant of Scots-Irish emigrants arriving in the District of Maine on the “MacCallum” in 1718. Professionally, she is a retired Nurse Educator who served at the University of Hawai’i Maui College. Privately, she is an amateur genealogist, historian, and archaeological excavation site team member.
