For a second year, Mass Cultural Council’s Tribal Cultural Council (TCC) Program will support Native American and Indigenous communities by providing funds for tribal governments to grant to projects in the arts, humanities, and sciences that provide benefit to the tribal communities.
Grants are now available from four TCCs to support projects that meet their specific tribal criteria:
- Aquinnah Wampanoag Cultural Council in Aquinnah
- Herring Pond Wampanoag Tribe Cultural Council (HPWTCC) in Plymouth
- Mâseepee Cultural Council in Mashpee
- Nipmuc/k Cultural Council in Grafton
The TCC Program was inspired by the long, successful history of local autonomy and community driven decisions that are cornerstones of the Agency’s Local Cultural Council Program. It was also shaped by our Racial Equity Plan as well as the recent Native American & Indigenous Peoples Equity Plan.

- Read about the TCC Program application process.
- Download the TCC Program Guidelines (PDF).
