Reading Frederick Douglass Together (RFDT) has grown into a statewide movement in Massachusetts since its founding in 2009. This year, a record 76 readings are taking place throughout the Commonwealth. Program Officer Dr. Latoya Bosworth, who manages the Douglass program, recently visited GBH’s The Curiosity Desk to share some insight into Douglass and his famous speech, “What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?”
