The Community Preservation Coalition stewards the Massachusetts Community Preservation Act (CPA) by supporting the implementation and adoption of the CPA, enhancing the CPA’s efficacy and impact, and serving as a convener for municipalities and advocates statewide. In doing so, we ensure this unique legislation continues to fund necessary investments in affordable housing, historic preservation, open space conservation, and outdoor recreation. The Coalition’s work enables the CPA program to improve communities throughout the Commonwealth and enhance the quality of life for residents within those communities.
