Build a deeper understanding of our contemporary world by studying the past in the History and Political Science Department at Worcester State University. In lively, interactive classroom exchanges, you’ll analyze the meaning of past events and acquire an informed perspective on your own heritage and the heritage of people around the world. Our diverse curriculum covers a broad range of topics in American history as well as all areas of world history—Europe, Asia, Africa, the Near East, and Latin America. At the conclusion of your studies, you will compile a portfolio of work that includes a senior capstone paper based on primary research.
